The PK has let them down at key moments all series long. It was a staple all season long but all we need for now is just one win. Thats it, winning two consecutive game 7's in't easy, but they are in the same boat and having to do it on the road twice in a row will be a challenge for them. History is on our side having won every game 7 ever played at home in the franchise's history and we have been big at home all season long. This is the make up of our team, none of us should be surprised we are in another game 7 here...to quote Torts," we just have to go play, keep banging away at it and find a way"...more of a paraphrase but you get my drift. Stay positive and we will be ok, I am confident they won't throw another dud in there...LGR! - Blueshirts4ever
I am gonna let this go for a couple of days just to try and regain some of my own sanity.
Talk to everyone on saturday.

I think the 2 days off will do them some good, they need ot get away from the rink themselves for a day... |

I heard a stat today that i thought was interesting.
Since the NHL has gone to the 7 game and 4 round playoff format, no team that has gone 7 games in both of the first two rounds has ever won the cup.
Shows how much of a battle the NHL playoffs are and also shows the Rangers have a chance to make history. |

Plus, I believe I read the Rangers have never lost a Game 7 at MSG throughout their history (7-0). |

I read and follow you guys everyday, don't post much but i couldn't resist this morning, been a ranger fan since im 5 yrs old, now 37. what i watched last night was complete GARBAGE. as great as they've been all year.have no complaints about anything this team does but they do definitely lack that killer instinct. you could see 30 seconds into the game that they had no shot. no momentum ,no desperation, no heart, zero. How do you come out the way they did last night, when all the momentum is yours ???? i have a really bad feeling about this, not sure they'll get through this one. |

you're right except its 4-0 so, all that means is that first times happen all of the time...and what does history really mean to the present...not much... |

I don't see how you can believe that when they went into Ottawa and fought back to win that series...this team has given you no reason whatsoever to not believe, so they stunk last night...ok big spot and came up small, it was garbage but the message is to stay positive, the energy in the building will get them going, I expect the Rangers to win on Saturday, they are the top seed and worked hard all season to get this game at home, don't turn your back on them, momentum has meant nothing and I think is overrated game to game, if nothing else, this focuses them more, its one game, pressure is on both teams...the Caps having to win a 2nd game 7 in a row on the road is even harder, keep that in mind...stay with me here...don't do it, don't jump... |

Yeah. That kind of stat makes me fear regression to the mean. |

Does anyone follow Rob Rossi, Pittsburgh writer? He was tweeting crap about the Rangers last night. I tweeted him back and, in true arrogant Pittsburgh attitude, he blocked me. Seems like he is a hated man, even in Pitt. |

As a Ranger fan for 45 years it is my gut feeling that the road to the cup goes through Madison Square Garden. Time to win another game 7. Won't be easy but the boys will pull it off, again. |

So, game 7 at MSG, you guys must be pumped. I realize it would have been nicer to finish it up in game 6 but hey this is why you fight for home ice right ? |

Yeah, the Bruins having won 3 of these last season gives me hope and should give the Caps hope for that matter, I fully expect this team to perform... |

If they play like they did in Game 6, you might have to bear with only one more game.

If we played the first 2 periods like we played the 3rd, we would be worrying about the Devils right now... |
