The dude stole my Pee Wee hockey analogy.

When goals like that happen in a game it just feels like "it aint to be". |

Agreed, I believe Pronger realizes that also. Homer has a lot of interesting decisions this summer with some of the older, established vets kind of blocking the ice time of the young guns particularly in the forwards. - ravishingone
After last summer, expect the unexpected. I'm certain a fair amount of turnover is coming. And I think there is going to be significant changes made on the blueline. |

Yah: maybe they can trade him for two more stud prospects. - PT21
Or maybe we can keep him. And we'll have another goal scoring Winger. He may not have as good of an all around game as Carter has. As Carter is an all situations player, that is very good in both ends of the ice. But if he becomes a 30 goal, 60 point Winger, that's a good thing. And I see no reason why he can't accomplish that, and even more next Season. First thing is, he has to get healthy.

Its funny bc the defense was suppose to be the strong point for this team coming into the season bc of the experience. Of course injuries derail that theory. I wouldn't mind the Flyers making a couple moves to sure up the defense. |

Phillies getting paddy whacked around by the Mets is especially comical. |

Add Briere to that trade list. He isn't worth 6.5 mil any more. - NJFlyersFan
NMC, primary but shared custody of his sons with wife in So. Jersey. Likelihood of waiving, slim to none. |

This may sound strange, the only locks I see on the blueline are Grossmann, Coburn, and Meszy.
I certainly don't expect a guy like Matt Read to be relegated to 4th line duties because of the forward depth. Really is going to be interesting. |

Part of the game Sir. And prepare yourself for a laundry list of injuries next year. No reason what so ever to expect anything to change on that front. |

Yes. It is time for the brutalizers to roam the earth. No player will be unscathed by their bitter rants and desire for on-line vengeance. |

First of many conversations about who sucks, unfortunately. JVR is just the current topic.

I'm already prepared to expect 2-3 defenseman out for the playoffs next season. If it doesnt happen, this is great news.

Meszaros coming off back surgery would be tough to move, as well as tough to get equal value for. Timonen's contract would be tough to move as well.
Anyone else I believe could be traded. |

The difference between you and me in such discussions is, I consider regular season stats to be a waste of time. They are as meaningless as getting home ice in the playoffs.
Jeff Carter playoffs stats: 56 games 14 goals 25 points -11.
Yup, those sure are worthy aspirations for our # 2 pick. |
