Man, NJ really wrote the book on how not to be called for interference. - KGBflyers10
Whether people like it or not, there are boundaries and there is some stuff they let go. The Devils are taking it to those boundaries and doing just enough to where they won't get called, it's what you need to do to slow the play down. |

Safe to say we can't take anymore penalties. Bryz has played great (other than the brain fart) but the Devils are getting plenty of good looks at the net on the PP.

Besides being down a goal, I think the Flyers are playing a much better game then the last 3. I think the Flyers make a push in the 3rd period. - MJL

I know you are not serious, but the people claiming consiparcy against the Flyers if funny, especially since the Flyers are owned by NBC and the Devils aren't appealing at all to the overall aspect of fan base size and market. - _Zippy_
Look at this year, man. The teams that are going to advance have been recently horrible in the playoffs. This is just another part of Lord Bettman's new world order. |

He could have swept it behind the net, covered with the glove, or played it to the other side AWAY from the forechecker. He had enough time to do any one of those options but didn't. It was a stupid play by Bryzgalov. - shonoff95
He had an option to freeze the puck. But he chose to try and play it past Clarkson. The puck should have never been there. The stupid play was by Timonen who put Bryzgalov in that spot. You always, always want a defenseman handling the puck over a goaltender. Especially when he doesn't handle the puck well.

I literally have no idea who is in the system with Adirondack. I disagree with bringing Rinaldo up unless he is the most skilled guy down there. - markmark
That's fine.

Analysis from club box 14:
1. Except for the obvious mistake, Bryz has turned in another solid performance.
2. It seems that EVERY BOUNCE is going the Devils' way
3. These referees are absolutely terrible
4. This has been the Flyers best game since they beat the Pens
5. Rinaldo
Good god I hope I dont have to see a handshake line tonight. |

They play hard between whistles, but are limp Richards afterwards. Not as entertaining for me, sorry to say. |

I think more than tired they look frustrated. A big part of their game that worked so well against Pitts was getting THEM off their game. NJ isn't having it and seems to be working in their favour. |

The Flyers thrive off the scrums and take their momentum from them. Devils have made it a point of emphasis to stay away from that, and it's the right thing to do.
No Devils retailiated for Giroux's hit, Rinaldo's hit(s). If it was any other team, a Devil would be right there to give him a taste of his own medicine. |

I'm not a cruel person. I pray to the hockey gods that Philly scores another goal. I still hope NJ wins, but if that goal scored by Clarkson is the GWG, you heartless Flyer's fans will never, ever, ever let Universe live it down. I know you guys. I do. It will be 5 years from now, you'll be throwing back a cheese steak, and still talking about how Universe cost you game 5 of the Semi's in 2012. The world has enough Bill Buckners. |

It just wouldn't be on Bryz's shoulders, but every goaltender to ever play in a Flyers uniform. |

Not saying Timonen made the best play ever there, but Bryzgalov has more of the blame there. He had 4 choices & picked the 1 that was the dumbest & most likely to backfire. It's not soccer, you know...Bryzgalov could have just froze the puck for a whistle. |

the only way that won't be topic #1 is if the Flyers win this game.
it's a shame too, because he's actually played really well.

The first period they were good, but the Devils and their system started taking over the 2nd period.
It would suk if the Clarkson goal was the game winner.
I guess we could argue over who's fault it was until next season. |
