I would give him maybe 2 mil more than Halak got. So call it 6 per for 6 or 7 years, that's about it. - pete26
5 years 5mil per season is what i would give him. |

Like him or not, the guy has always been clutch. Besides, i think that if any player is the only one to score on a goalie during a game, he should be in the shootout. He also went 7-12 career in the shootout. - golfingsince
So...if Hal Gill scores a goal during a game, you would put him in a shootout? |

Please Howard, don't compare Hal Gill offensive skills with a guy who's had close to 900 career points. |

Sure, but if he said I want 6 or I'm signing a 1 year contract, they would likely give it to him. So, ya 5-6 we are all pretty close. Except for that crazy monkey that wants to give him 8.3. |

I think it's a bit different. Let's take a look at team Canada right now at the worlds. If Burrows is the only Canadian to score in a 1-1 draw, i'd put him in the shootout despite there being much more talented guys on the squad. |

That was my logic at the time with Linden. First shooter at the worlds HAS to be Eberle though. That guy is as clutch as they come. |

I don't think it will be that much of a problem, considering Stoll and Penner are UFAs. |
