If you were interested in paying half his salry to go to another team and assuming he'd get picked up. Did they ever put him on re-entry?
- Pie

I can't imagine they would bury him and not eventually try to offload him to another team...

if a team picks a player off re-entry does the half of the salary you pay stay on your cap?

Has Redden ever been on re-entry? I don't think so.

According to TSN, he was never on re-entry.

make one thing perfectly clear about the Canadiens’ new general manager: Marc Bergevin is funnier than his predecessor.

Of course, this puts Bergevin in the select company of about 7 billion humans on this planet who are funnier than Pierre Gauthier.

Considering everything that comes with being a hockey player in the NHL (Planes, great hotels, "star status" etc.. ) it's worth thinking about it.

He's making 6.5 a year as opposed to 1.5.
Pretty sure the extra 5 mill could pay for the private jet, great hotel and hookers.

He's got 2 more years at a cap hit of 6.5, unless there's a major rule change I wouldn't be shocked if he's never in the NHL again.

Not sure they could add much to what was already said in every single news outlet in the province.

Is he beating up the bullies?? Because that would make total sense.
