Stop with the gifs pls. Gave flyer box dude 12 hours for 3 of those this morning. I let one slide, because well, I'm just that nice.

Big win last night. Three hits for Harper too.

Watching the interview with Bergevin on l'antichambre last night... if anything, the guy is really happy and proud to have gotten the job.

Yeah.... He really looks like a nice guy.

I'm already tired of the journalists getting their panties wet because the new GM wants to talk with them.

"une bouffée d'air frais!"

Bunch of ass kissers.

It was still his first day on the job.

Although I agree, his demeanor is a massive change from the last 9 years.

So...with the draft in Piitsburg wouldn't they like to get their hands on the third pick.

I know he hasn't made a move yet, but I think the outlook of his potential success is good. I like the fact it really seems like the Habs searched for a GM and chose what they felt was the best candidate.

It will all come down to how he deals with Gomez and Kaberle. Such a shame to have to inherit that mess but it will define his tenure.

hopefully it will extend his honey moon and give him a few extra months before he starts getting torn to shreds by the media.

I'm also very curious to see how he handles Subban, his new contract and his place on the team.

They're a bunch of donkeys. I rarely listen or read any of it, he could do the same.

I think the #3 pick is an even bigger factor to his offseason and will be a greater defining moment.

I expect Gomez to be either in the minors, europe or as unluckily as it seems another NHL team. Depending on what they do with Gomez I wouldn't be shocked if Kaberle is back for another season. I think he's fairly useless and hate that Gauthier traded for him, but I don't think it's the end of the world if he's your 6th or 7th D and PP specialist.

I agree. If those things go even remotely well, he is already a success.

I suspect he gets left alone for the season.
