Draft is a crapshot...you just never know. Fischer was just a really really really dumb pick. I think the guy was projected in the 3rd round and the Habs grabbed him in the first round before Giroux was taken. Hopefully lesson were learned.

And it wasn't really a typical Timmins pick. He isn't usually as risky with the first round picks. The other first rounders he got were at the time surefire NHLers (AK, Price ,Chipchura, Leblanc, Tinordi, Beaulieu)
