This is still nowhere as bad as Pens game 4.

Screw this, I'd rather watch the Sixers get smoked by the Bulls on TNT.

Reminder: The Flyers are still winning

This isn't Scott Stevens, Ken Daneyko, Scott Neidermayer and company, it's a rookie who hasn't played in a month, Fayne, Greene, and Bryce (frank)ing Salvador.

Flyers being eaten alive by a team with 1/10 the talent.
- PLindbergh31

That's a drastic over exaggeration. The Devils have a very good team. And it really isn't about talent that period. It's about work ethic.

The Devils played an awesome period. However Bryzgalov was even better.

This is as bad a period as I have seen them play in creating offense, at least. Defensively not that bad except for some bad clears. It is fairly clear there is a motivational problem here. However good the Devils are playing and however much they want it, its not going to be so putrid if the Flyers give a decent effort.

Bryz looks like he's playing good enough. But no, I don't think 1-0 will happen with a repeat of the 2nd effort-wise. But I think they'll come out much better

Bryzgalov has been stellar, but you can't play like this and expect to win games.

The positive is, if Bryz keeps this up and finds his March form...

Have to credit the Devils for playing a tremendous period, but the Flyers looked like they were out for a sunday skate at the local rink.

so, which Flyers team will we see in the 3rd? Will they really try to be more aggressive and get shots on goal while nursing a one goal lead?

You been waiting for your goalie to steal a game and right now he is in line to do it. The Devils are getting really good chances but Bryz has been there to stop them all. That was a very poor period for the Flyers. Its like they never came out of the locker room.

Exactly. One guy out of 20 has shown up through two periods.
