I think we've some talent on the Marlies showcasing their talents in the playoffs... Maybe the leafs should try to get rid of at least one big-bad-contract, pick up a good goalie, then call it a year...

Lombardi, Komisarek and Armstrong all have undesirable contracts. Hopefully we can find a cap floor team (if that's still part of the CBA) and dump them.

As for goalies, Reimer and Scrivens. Tank it.

Honestly, I haven't seen that on here. But I ONLY go into the Leafs threads because I tend to be attacked for no reason in other threads lol.

But it wouldn't surprise me. At least here it has people who can delete and moderate it. On twitter only the person who posted it can actually delete it.

Honestly, this is worse for the reputation of a hockey community than what happened in Vancouver. Sometimes people get caught up in the mob mentality and do things they otherwise are not likely to do. These comments speak to the core of the person, and from what I'm seeing, I'm not impressed.

Pick up Thornton for vet 1C, sign a stopgap 2yr goalie mentor, dump at least 2 of our famous 4 overpaid slugs plus Fransen, and bring up Kadri, Colborne, D'amigo and maybe Holzer, and play things out....
