You know, I like the Oilers probably my second favorite team, but I have to say that jackass Richard Cloutier would make you hate them.
I'm betting that Richard Cloutier:
1. lives in this parents basement
2. Watches animal planet all by himself with the door locked
3. Has no friends
4. Never watched a hockey game
5. Never had a formal education worth mentioning
6. Never wrote an interesting blog in his life
7. Sits down to pee

I wouldn't be so sure. They have the tv schedule to consider and you know they want to give the Bruins and Rangers the best shot at those NBC timeslots. I wouldn't be surprised to see them wait until both of those series are over.

I don't think there's a question about those NBC slots. Can't see us getting much of that. We'll be on CNBC pretty much all the way through til the 3rd round.

Nashville in 6, the western conference final will be Nashville vs St.Louis.

Oh, I was just playing. I think the series will be a grind, not a high scoring affair, very similar to the Detroit series. The first 2 games will tell us who will win it.

Sounds like by common perception both series are going to go 7...with all of the games being 1-0 triple overtime finals.

First of all, congrats to the Yotes on winning their first series.

My prediction is Preds in 6. Every game will be a nail-biter, but Preds have the depth to get it done.

LA/STL I'm going with Blues in 7.

If Phoenix still had Upshall, I think they'd sweep us. We couldn't stop that kid with the chip on his shoulder.

Since they don't, I think this becomes Erat's series when Phoenix starts to key on Radulov. It will have to end in 6 (since by tradition all playoff series must end in Nashville and I really don't see a sweep coming).

I grew up a Blues fan...but I just think LA will be a little too Quick for them...Kings in 6 to give Nashville home ice in the WCF.

I think Preds in 5. Nothing against the Yotes at all, but if they can't put up decent numbers offensively against a weak Chicago defense and sub par netminding, I don't see them breaking through our walls and netting much. I could be wrong but a lot of what I see from them is smoke and mirrors type offense. Skilled defense and good goaltending, sure. But offensively I just cant say they will have much success against our blueline squad...

Stl/LA will be a six game series because Quick is so good but STL will come out on top. Their team is molded very similar to ours. Solid defense and 2 great goalies.

As much as it will be a crazy fun series, Nash/STL will be a blood bath that will go to 7 games. Whoever comes out of that will have earned their right to fight for the Cup, however they will be beat to poop. The SCF will showcase a Western team bloodied and bruised thats for sure...

his blog was moronic. i can understand fans that want high octane offense. i can even tolerate their snobbery if their team has that and looks down on yours if it doesnt, BUT he just showed his sports/hockey arrogance. all sports have successful teams that play different styles ( patriots and steelers). you may not "enjoy" their style but it doesnt make the game any less compelling. especially if you are a supposed "real hockey fan". i agree that due to the markets tv ratings may not set records, but his overboard diatribe shows what he knows.

He is a no talent hack, his blogs are boring, void of any insight or information. They are nothing more than the spouting of a 9yr old child. I believe he lacks the capacity for any intellectual conversation regarding any subject, esp hockey. It's a wonder this website keeps him.
