Good luck Preds! The balance your team possesses is incredible and you may live up to that sign everyone trolled quicker than many expected.

As for goalies in Van, could not agree more. As good of a coach as AV may be, his systems have never been too goalie friendly, given how many shots are given up each game. It should be a very different team on the coast if we have learned anything.

Personally I would want to play PHX. I think our D/goalie is better than Chicago's this year, and PHX isn't really lighting the lamp on them. I think some of our forwards are due to have some big games - and while PHX is playing tough with a hot goalie - I like our chances against them a bit more than I do with Chicago.

Personally, I dont want to have to stay up until 11pm to see the end of the game....Go Hawks!

Just curious Preds fans, which team would you rather play?

My preference would be to play Chicago. We dominated them this season, and I feel we have a much better team than they do. Phoenix just always seems to have a good game plan against us and they scare the poop out of me when we play them. Plus against Chicago, we would have home ice, which is a real plus.

Not to mention there's a decent shot the Preds wouldn't see Hossa for the first few games, possibly the whole series. That's kind of important.

Our old friend, Basil Marceaux, is back in the news.

Poor, poor Basil. Where will we get our political comedy now? Oh wait, there's still the TN Legislature and Phil Williams.

The kings scare the crap out of me. J. Quick is on a roll. As for next round it's a bit of a toss up, which ever team is the weakest I guess that would be Chicago.

Well we don't have to worry about the Kings right now because we're not playing them in the next round. But remember that they're playing the Blues who had the least goals scored against them this season, and the Kings had trouble just to score against the Canucks. My prediction for that series is Blues in 6. So hopefully we take care of whoever we're playing and the Kings rough up the Blues and give them a run for their money.

And Vermette with the nail in the coffin. Looks like we're playing Phoenix. And Chipchura with an extra nail. Preds better be ready to take on Phoenix or there will be a lot of unhappy fans

Mike Smith is a beast, but so is Rinne. Preds in 6. Get ready to hear the national 'media' p*** and moan about this series until its over.

I wasn't scared of playing the hawks...but, I am so happy that we won't have to deal with hawks fans....

So, when do they start to jump OFF the band wagon?

I don't know what was worse--chicago defense or chicago goaltending.

There are serious coaching problems there right now.
