I have never seen Rispoli in anything else, or at least nothing I recall. - PLindbergh31
I think he basically plays himself, so he's not going to get many opportunities to 'star'.
Just noticed he's in the new Starz series, Magic City. May have to check that one out. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars, and he was good in The Losers.

Scary, scary team when you look at the ages. - canadianpenfan
In very good shape with respect to the forward core, the defense will need to be rebuilt, and the goaltending is still a question mark. |

It's the Philadelphia way! The problem now is the next 9 years he's under contract for. |

Oh ok. I will have to check out his IMBD page. I always think to myself when I watch the movie what a great character he played, and then I always say, I have never seen him in anything else. Granted I'm not a huge movie, or tv guy. All my tv time is generally devoted to sports. |

I'm not giving up on Bryzgalov, his numbers indicate he will be well above average, this year he wasn't. |

Braden Holtby stole the show in Game 4 on Thursday night between the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins, making 44 saves in the Capitals' 2-1 victory. Quite simply, Holtby has been the story of these playoffs as the 22-year-old played seven times in the regular season and has turned into the sole reason the Caps were able to even the series at two games Thursday night. Holtby has given up seven goals in the four games of this series -- four of them coming in the Game 3 loss. Even more remarkable: Washington was outshot 45-21, and Holtby faced 13 shots in a third period tilted toward the Caps' end, as his own team mustered up just three. |

Maybe, but Bryz came around late in the year, and if he does, indeed, have a hip issue to go along with his foot, his play so far is explained.
I'm gonna hold off judgement until what he does the first quarter of next season. |

You have more hope than I would. I thought it was a terrible deal at the time and I still think that. You can't underestimate the differences in style the 2 teams play. I mean, Mike Smith is the new Patrick Roy now, the same Mike Smith that couldn't hold down a back up role in Tampa... |

Definitely. Have to give him a year to adjust to new team, city, conference, coach, teammates etc. |

Oh I'm not happy about the deal he got, but if he can post a .920 save %, and a sub 2.40 gaa, it makes the contract more tolerable. If he performs like he did this year for the balance of the contract it's an unmitigated disaster. Time will tell.
If he wins one Cup during the course of his contract, it will have been well worth it. At least to me it will. Can't speak for others. |

Just franking with you. As you can guess I came up empty handed at the hotel bar and instead saw how many beers I could down in 2 hours. Not a bad showing I might add... - canadianpenfan
I wasn't gonna bring the hotel question up, since it didn't originate here. Those Saskatchewan babes didn't go for the Lemieux jersey either, huh?

I know it's hard to believe but there are some hotties in Saskatoon. Problem is I'm as good at picking up chicks as Bryz and Fleury are at stopping pucks. |
