Anderson has played Lundqvist toe to toe through 4 games. I'm a big Anderson fan, I said 3 years ago the Flyers should have traded for Anderson when he was rotting on the bench in Florida. - PLindbergh31
I posted this earlier...
- In the past 2 games, the Sens have 169 shot attempts to the Rangers 99
- Kreider, Feds, Artem, and Mitchell didn't have a shot in game 4
- Gabby only has 3 shots in the past 3 games
- Strahlman, Cally, and Boyle are the only Rangers to score since game 1
- The rangers have 1 even-strength goal in the last 160:01 in the series
I've watched here and there during this series, but I was shocked to see the numbers broken down like that.
Henry is coming up huge so far. Without him it could be 3-1 Sens.
Anderson is playing good too though

to think we could of got tim thomas for jeff carter. pff we got stuck with jake and couts instead - flyfan1212
Thomas is old, I don't blame Holmgren for not making that trade. |

Yeah... at that cap hit and back issues at the time, it would have been cried over in Philly like the Upshall trade. |

Ottawa has outplayed the Rags through 4 games, Lundqvist is doing what he has done all year. Anderson although he has seen less shots, he's faced the higher quality. Both goalies have been tremendous.

Leighton? Why would he be starting? The guy hasn't played an NHL game all year. - PLindbergh31
Bryz could have a hip injury, depending on who's word you trust.
And people think Bryz only practicing for a little over 10 min and having Leight take the rest of practice is a sign |

Even looking at in in hindsight, it's a trade that doesn't really make sense. |

Bogus reports. Bryzgalov hasn't played well, but injury cannot be used as an excuse. No player is 100% this time of year. |

I agree. It might have paid off, but where would the playoff scoring come from?

Well... A chip fracture and hip hurt from overcompensating is no small thing. Or else Niskanen's two goals might be blocker saves instead yesterday. |

Crosby's probably in pretty good shape. JVR will be well-rested, if rusty. |

True hurt, and injured are two different things, if he can't improve on his performance the last two games, someone else has to play. |

You can't compare every player playing hurt to a goaltender. The five skaters, yes are going to be hurt to a certain degree. But they are doing something totally different than goaltending and no, not all goaltenders are hurt right now. |

I would be over the moon if the Flyers could put the Pens away and the Sens could put the Rangers away. |

really holtby is eating thomas's lunch? Uh the score is only 2-1 and the caps are down in that series that isn't eating anyone's lunch. Also the caps are giving him a lot of help, there aren't many second chances for the Bruins on any rebounds becuase the caps are cleaning it up. |
