I won't be jumping off the bridge with you guys, guess I'll have lower ticket prices to choose from. Boston pissed away a 3-0 lead in 2010 and look how they came back. This is a young team and quite frankly I've already stated my displeasure with some of the veterans, but this is a growing experience right here and better to get it out of the way now than two or three rounds later.

Sorry, but there was more then just Briere that cost them that goal. Sorry, I don't see Briere as a liability. He has his faults as does every player. But Briere wasn't brought here to play defense. And what I do understand is the key contributions that Briere has made to this team since he's been here.

He was standing still throughout the sequence of events that lead up to the goal while everyone else is scrambling for the puck. Why sit high in the slot, watch the puck bounce out and then watch staal go for it. He's riding high in the zone, that's known as cherry picking, it's a big reason why he gets so many goals this time of year, it's also why so many goals are scored when he is on the ice. You like him fine but me personally I wouldn't build a team with a guy like him.

A lot of people I'm sure are upset with the goaltending, certain players or all of the bad calls made. I'm more so upset with the people surround the game. Going in, everyone wants to keep this game under control but the Flyers have been the team who has been under control. The Pens meltdown has both teams taking on consequence for that. There have been so many bad calls in the first period that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING was called in the second. Rinaldo never killed Michalek but he dropped like Rinaldo shanked him to death. Too much control from the outside on the inside of this game.

In that case there may not be a game 5 for those players.

Yea, jagr has added dimensions to his game, that's one of the reasons he's still playing in this league. I mean my god he just stands there and watches the opposition pounce on loose pucks in his zone, how hard is it to develop that aspect to just knock the puck away from staal there?

I'm sorry but if the league keeps this sort of reffing and control over this game, I can honestly see the Pens coming back and winning the series. I know this sounds like panic on my part but that was a horrible 1st period and it's carrying over. There is tight but this is too tight. Time to loosen up a bit and allow them to play.

To me briere is far from why they are losing this game. Bryzgalov needs to be better if they are going to win the series. Simple as that.

For what its worth, even though it has been fun at times, this is a joke of a series that is developing terrible habits.
