No, they're supposed to keep him in front of them and not let him in all alone on the Goalie. Basic fundamentals of defense.

Yea it was brutal that two Flyers let Malkin slash their goalie like that and come away with the puck take a stride and score, yes/.

Honestly, I think I'd consider pulling Bryz to throw a curve ball at the Pens. I think they know Bryz by now and what it takes to beat him. Bob can only be better or worse then Bryz but either way, it's about strategy to close things out now.

There were a lot of mistakes made in that period. Was Briere the only one? Make excuse after excuse for Bryzgalov and kill the player you don't like? I know your better then that.

I don't like him for his laziness on defence which just costed the FLyers a goal. I don't know what you don't understand. He costs them goals. He was lazy on that play and it lead to a goal. If I see bryzgalov half ass something I will be the first to say it. But you even said the goalie needs rebound support. Briere almost never does that and almost every game is a liability. That last goal is the whole problem I have with him. Now he'll score a goal and you guys will gush over him. Gimme someone who puts twice the effort in with half the goals seriously, you'll come out ahead.
