to be honest I thought the final score would be 4 - 3 or maybe 5 - 4. now I"m thinking 10 - 8.

is it Bob time?

Wow you guys killing bryz is funny. One guy hoping we win the series, gimme a break.
- JoeRussomanno

Exactly. None of those goals was solely on Bryz. He needs to be better, but the defensive coverage has been awful.

Pens make one mistake and their season is done.

Flyers have historically this season been terrible in the first period and then came out to play. Lavy knows what buttons to push. Everyone should settle down here.

- KGBflyers10

I think we have been at least one goal down after the first in every game so far. Hasn't worked out too badly so far. I would agree that the doom and gloom is a little premature.

That said, the PK to start the 2nd is huge. We can't pass up that chance to get another shortie...

Is there going to be a lot of fans with broken ankles if the Flyers lose this game? which I don't think they will.

C'mon Joe, hard to defend one player while singling out another with bias. Your better then that.
- MJL

I can and will single out Briere, he stood there and WATCHED staal take a stride to a rebound and score. He should have been down low helping fight for the puck not sitting high in the zone waiting for the cherry pick.

Are we really blamin Bryz here?
- nails

a bit. he deserves part of the blame. and while he has made some saves, he doesn't look comfortable at all. every shot is an adventure, and i'm sure his teammates have noticed. you'd think they'd try to tighten it up as a result.

Oh and Bob gave up four goals the last time he played Pittsburgh too, so don't act like he's some savior.
- JoeRussomanno

Yup ... Bryz is definitely still our best bet. He's been good later in the games.

Man, but that first goal was BRUTAL! No?
- GoFlyersGoSlovakia

Yea it was brutal that two Flyers let Malkin slash their goalie like that and come away with the puck take a stride and score, yes/.

There were a lot of mistakes made in that period. Was Briere the only one? Make excuse after excuse for Bryzgalov and kill the player you don't like? I know your better then that.

The entire series they have been down multiple times and by multiple goals, but now down 1 goal in the 2nd period in a potential series sweeping game, we put bob in?

I don't know why people are bailing. This is nothing that didn't happen in the first three games. In fact I got worried the Flyers would finish the first two periods with a lead This is all part of the plan methinks.

It's mind boggling the goaltending this year thus far, is worse than what we saw last year.

Substitute bandwagon for bridge. And it will be the usual suspects if the Flyers lose this game.

The puck was laying in front of Bryzgalov and Malkin kicked it loose with his skates to his stick.

Two of those goals were on him.
One was an unstopable defeltction and the other was an entire team breakdown.
