gotta admit, the briere line scares me at even strength tonight. after playing to a draw in game one, they have been out-chanced big time at 5-on-5 since. on sunday, they were outshot 10-1, however, bryz stopped all 10 and danny obviously scored on their one shot. luck like that runs out at some point. hopefully not until like next october or so, but they need to find a way to limit the opposition's chances tonight.

Seems like since Game 1 the Pens have been trying to get Staal out there against Danny B and his line. Both of Staal's goals were stoppable shots by Bryz so I don't know if I'd fault his line for that. All in all, his line has been more productive than his counterpart...6 goals, 6 assists, 12 points +2; Staal's line with Cooke and Kennedy, 4 goals, 3 assists, 7 points, -1.

I would like to see the Flyers play a more sound defensive game tonight. Don't give the Pens anything easy and keep most of the shots to the outside and for Bryz to continue to make timely saves.

I'll say this for the Penguins, they have succeeded in uniting 29 fanbases into all hating the same team. That is quite an accomplishment.

Any info on Bourdon? Is it a concussion?

I'd like to see a nice 3-0 or 3-1 win with a strong game by Bryz and sound team defense. As much as the first 3 games have been fun, I want to see lock down because your next opponent is not going to be playing the way the Pens have.

James van Riemsdyk (foot) participated in practice on Tuesday. The Philadelphia winger said he could play in Game 4 on Wednesday night, but that probably won't happen with the Flyers holding a 3-0 series lead over Pittsburgh in their quarterfinal match-up. There isn't a need to rush him back in the lineup and he would likely benefit from some additional skates. It is encouraging to see that he'll likely be ready to return soon though.

I think the 1 game for Neal was a bit lite. He should have got 1 game for Couturier and 1 game for Giroux. Let's hope the Flyers make it so that it doesnt matter.
