Let start off by saying this; i hate flyers more than life itself!!!!

Saying that i will say the love i'm feeling for the orange & black right now!!!

Please sweep them please, please please!!!!!

Not only will i pray for the flyers to win the cup; i will have my girlfriend replace the shaved bolt on her "box" with the flyer emblem!!

Now go out there and beat some pitt butt!!!!!

- vinnybolt4life

Could you please post a pic of that shaved area? That would be epic!

He's played really good in the first two games. If you don't agree I don't know what to tell you. I'm judging those performances based on the fact the goals were just good plays by the Penguins. Also he made saves that he had no business making, also he hasn't let anything in through all third periods in all three games. His counterpart accross the ice hasn't exactly done the same, in fact it's quite the opposite in that he's gotten weaker as games went on.

Not sure what happened with Fleury but my goodness he's let in some stinkers. Atrocious.

I have confidence.. but until they end it I wont feel comfortable.

I hope you don't have Briere ahead of him. Don't get me wrong what he's doing is great, but he's playing one way hockey that is leaving the Flyers vulnerable. Thankfully Bryz has been the equalizer.

Never miss a chance to critique Briere, do you?

Bryz played well in game one, and for most of game two. He was NOT good in game three, however. Briere's been hugely important. I think that right now Giroux, Couturier and Briere have been key up front.

Yea I know everyone is all gushy right now on him cause he gets those highlight reel goals and does his cute little crouch down fist pump, but he's also a culprit for as much stuff going back the other way. He's a zero in plus/minus with all the goals he's scored and there's a reason for that.

May be Leight, but Paul Martin is out. Not sure if that's a good thing for Flyers or not. If he was playing to past levels, it'd be a very good thing, but he's struggled.

Hope I'm wrong but going forward, I think we're going to be coming accross teams like Boston or NY that can shut him down and exploit his lack of defensive game. Then we'll all be singing a different tune. Like I said hope I am wrong.

Talbot's been huge in the leadership department in addition to those big goals he's scored. He's getting under skin, working his ass off and setting a great example.

Talbot has been exactly what Holmgren hoped he would be.

I don't really get all this Sidney bashing. Bobby Clarke did a lot of the same type of dirty things and let his teammates step in to protect him and he's a folk hero in Philly.

He's a PPG player in his career in the playoffs. He's been dynamite so far, yet again. This is why I rarely complain about Briere. As Butsy has said, he's a big game hunter. When the games are big, Briere's doing damage.

I have to give some serious respect to Scheen as well. He has elevated many aspects of his game: hitting, scoring, and passing. Read of course continues to look like a genius sniper. And I think Grossman deserves some credit. He has some miscues but his physical game has been solid. I hate to say it but Carle has been a mess in his own zone. Granted, he has done a great job jumping up into the play and creating offense.

Listened to Bucci and Ferraro podcast - they said (paraphrasing) that Shero royally (frank)ed up with him. They could not believe he let him go.

Could not agree more.

That cover is ridiculous and embarrassing. This is the same newspaper that chided the Chicago paper for their "Chrissy" Pronger cover.

Schenn has played great...and he's on a line with Briere.

Well above his 1.75M contract IMHO. A great signing!

They did, but I am sure it was purely a financial decision for them.
