Bryz was bad in game 3 but he was a lot better than his numbers say in the first two games. I'm sorry but there's only so much a goalie can do and Pittsburgh's goals were just good goals in those first two games. Guess you missed the glove save he made on a wide open letang to his blindside. - JoeRussomanno
Or the kick save in game one. He made a few saves in the first two games that were certainly game savers. He also had a save (i believe it was game 3) that kept it a one goal game, and ended up making another right after it and the flyers transitioned up the ice and made it a 2 goal game.
There is also an arm save that reallly stands out in my mind.

Bryz has been solid enough.. and has come up with some huge game shifting saves... especially in games 1 and 2.
Unfortunately.. the style of plays both teams have elected to play by, are not very good for goalies. - jak521
Flyers definitely need to tighten up going forward that's for sure. I just think the offensive juggernaut that Pittsburgh is, opens up any team's defensive efforts. That and the Flyers are a little gimpy on defense right now too. Bryz definitely needs to be better than he was in game 3 but if he plays like he did in the first two games, he could be conn smythe winner.

No doubt. I think at this point we have to accept he's gonna have a bad game a series. On a team like the Flyers they should be able to weather that.
One thing I can promise you is I'll always be a flyer fan I might hop on another team's bandwagon when the Flyers get eliminated but they are my favorite of all sports teams. - JoeRussomanno
Chris Lee has been an NHL ref since 2000-01 (full-time since 2001-02). He's reffed 659 regular season games. Tonight is just his 5th playoff game assignment.

Good, Cechmanek was an outstanding Goalie for the Flyers.

Okay guys. Non hockey related question, but I respect all your opinions, so I'm going to ask.
Money is tight right now and I have an upgrade for my Cell Phone coming up.
I use sprint.
I want to get an iPhone but I'm conflicted. I can get the iPhone 4 for 99 bucks, or I can get the iPhone 4s for 199. The 100 bucks makes a big difference in my pocket, so I want to know if the added features of Siri and the faster speeds are worth this extra 100 bucks... - RooNosHockey
we have to sweep them. if we give them any life, it will make them very dangerous. it almost never happens, the 0-3 comeback. when we did it we got gagne and carter back for game 4 (if memory serves) and they lost krecji in game 3 or 4 (can't remember which). we're still healthy (amazingly) and they're 3 regulars short due to suspension and likely to be missing ineffective dman martin. i can't see them coming back, maybe they win 2 games, but NO more unless something catestrophic happens - flyerscup2011
Everything is in place for a sweep ,loosing neal a home game etc. It may be 3-0 us but all the pressure is on us to end this. From reading all the pregame quotes I think all our guys know that.
Maybe I should get cocky knowing the players wont be and finally allow my self to stop worrying.
Bryz has made multiple game saving and momentum swinging saves in all three games this series. We have to keep in mind that the Penguins were the highest scoring team in all of hockey. They can pretty much score at will.
The Flyers definitely need to tighten it up and Bryz surely can play better, but I seriously doubt we will see this kind of offense from The Rags, Broons, Devils etc. Nor will those teams allow the Flyers to put up the kind of numbers they have been putting up.
This whole series has been the perfect storm of offensive hockey. - MBFlyerfan
ya i agree he has made some great saves but what if the flyers score 3 tonight do you think they win?
