The Canucks need to focus on hockey. There were too many penalties after the hit on Sedin. It's undermined the dominance they had in the 1st.

That was a brual dive by Kesler no doubt but the ref was calling the Crosscheck anyways...

Both Mitchell and Pahlsson should have known those were going to be calls they way things were going...both infractions also had embellishments.

I was affraid Quick would shine eventually. He wasnt pushed at all in the first two games. Weak chances mostly... This game could be a 0-0 overtime...

Got to say...I really like Bieksa's game tonight.

Agreed. If we can stay out of the box, I like our play 5 on 5. Glad there was a response after the Sedin hit though. Things will be calmer hopefully now that they know he is ok.

Yeah, but all the PP time plays to their strength. I'd rather a controlled game than an erratic one.

Is it just me, or is anyone else excited when CBC's contract expires with NHL and TSN/CTV outbids them for it?

Personally, we need more shots to get to the net on Quick and get them through the bodies for a rebound or deflection goal. I don't see us beating Quick otherwise. 5 on 5 we're dictating the play but the PP and PK is just killing whatever momentum we make.

I will be sad that it's not on CBC hockey night in Canada. Too many fond memories as a child. Would be really sad.

I thought the full length powerplays we had went pretty well. Considering we were in the zone the entire 2 minutes.... And killing off all our penalties.....

That aside, the ice is bad, and rebounds have been an issue for Quick, we just havent been there.
