Really disappointed with Kesler in this series. Im not a Canucks fan but he was one of my favourite players in the league.

Canucks drew a very tough opponent in the first round. The Kings look like a playoff built team that has a chance to go really deep. A Flyers/Kings final would be pretty sweet.

I'm not surprised by his lack of play. Think back to last year,he had 19 points in the playoffs and 13 of those were against Nashville if I'm not mistaken? So outside of that series, a total of 8 points in 21(?) games? (I think the VAN/NSH series ended in 6 but my memory may be deceiving me)

I still believe those kind of hits shouldn't be in the game, Henrik couldn't protect himself, there's a huge difference there. Might not be a penalty or worth supplemental discipline, but those kind of hits are going to end careers. It's worse now because of the size and speed of the players and the armor they wear. The game's evolved, it's time to evolve the rules with it.
