Shoulder check. Puck was just there, clean hit. CBC announcers are the two biggest female doges in the world

It's called "finishing your check." The puck was literally 2 feet from leaving Sedin's stick...

Ummm, he didn't use any part of his elbow in a clean check that he finished. Sedin should be watching the ice.

Aaron Rome got 4 games for "finishing his check" against Nathan Horton. Dustin Brown will get a slap on the wrist.

Actually, he was in a vulnerable position, those are the kind of hits that need to be taken out of the game.

It might have been a tad late but in the playoffs sedin cant open himself up to that by looking back.

Looks like elbow to me. Might want to rewatch that replay or take off the homer glasses.

Either way I think the moral of this playoffs is clear: target the opposition's best player and take him out of the game.

The "vulnerable position" was a result of Sedin not paying attention and Brown finishing his check.

I agree. It was a hard hit, maybe late, maybe at the head; but maybe not. I don't have a problem with it, but then I didn't have a problem with Rome's hit either.

What the hell is happening to hockey fans? Go look up some of Scott Steven's or Eric Lindros' hits. Back in the day everyone absolutely loved them, if they played now they would be suspended more then they could play. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't like hitting? Go watch soccer

He didn't remotely touch him with his elbow - give me a break. It was a check with his body/shoulder - his elbow doesn't touch Sedin.

Maybe a split second late... no headshot though.

Shocked to see Sedin back already... no quiet room? Concussion test?
