used to be, they would have an alternative in case of overtime and you could also catch a game on the NHL pckg channels. missed a lot of the chi/pho gm because of this new setup, which sucks. - isaiah520
It's good on one hand because every game is televised on basic cable, and every game is in high def, but like you say if games go to Overtime, people are screwed.

i knew i should have bet the house tonight. - hammarby31
YEa can't wait to see what the line is for games 3 and 4. Oh and is the league going to apologize to the penguins again? I think Schenn might have breathed too hard on Crosby and not gotten a game misconduct.

Nice win by the Flyers tonight folks. I can't remember the last time my team has played such horrid defense and bad situational hockey. Enjoy your evening. - Emperor Filonius
Just out of curiosity, are your fellow Pens fans calling for Fleury's head or are they appropriately assigning blame to the entire team.

they're using cnbc as well, but it's still not enough for the 1st round. do like the hi def, though.

i was thinking about this earlier. will the league apologize to everyone and especially pittsburgh fans if the flyers eliminate the penguins?

voracek looks dangerous everytime he touches the puck. - flyfan1212
he's been terrific. had a very nice regular season, but didn't finish as much as i'd have liked. he's elevated his game in the playoffs, and that's what you want out of any player.
Posted this on Twitter earlier, will repeat it here now and in tomorrow morning's blog: It has become obvious that the most exploitable weakness on Pittsburgh is it's defense. This group is not nearly as hard to play against as the ones with Scuderi and Gill plus Gonchar (with his PP/point shot/outlet passing prowess) were. They don't block nearly as many shots or box out nearly as well.
Flyers have exploited it time and time again both in regular season series and in Games 1 and 2 of playoffs. Letang loves to hit but gets out of position a lot and Orpik is only one who has boxing out effectively.
My feeling on Fleury remains the same. He's a good goalie but not a great one. Bernie Parent used to preach the mantra to a young Pelle Lindbergh that the difference between a good goalie and a great one is that a great goalie is harder to beat for a second goal than a first. With Fleury, once you get to him, he can start to press and commit too early.
