Ive heard the same from Sting fans, call him reckless and at least once a game gets nailed.

That frightens me a bit to be honest.

I think Edmonton's best move will be to trade that pick for a top prospect d-man, or a very good young d-man already in the NHL. The Leafs have a lot of d-men they could trade...none that would be good straight up for the 1st overall pick, but they could get it done. I don't know enough about Montreal's prospect pool, do they have any good upcoming d-men they could afford to part with for that pick?
- Domaju

I think its in the Leafs best interest to hold on to the fifth pick, hope the other teams make crazy moves, and hope for Galy

I don't think Burkie takes a Russian.

Imagine trading up for #1 and then the guy goes to the KHL.

He would never risk that, not after all the bad stuff that has happened already.

He needs low risk calculated moves now.

According to Yahoo Bablefish translator...both your way AND the way I wrote it are correct lol
- Domaju

No, it's not. Babelfish just takes the words and translates them, not necessarily according to the phrases they're used in. Mes is plural, mon is masculine singular. Ami is masculin singular, amies is feminine plural. Amis is masculine plural. Mes amis and mes amies makes sense. Mes ami or Mes amie does not. Mon ami and mon amie make sense, mon amis or mon amies does not.

it would be kind of like saying "that is my friends", instead of "those are my friends".

Do you see a character guy in the top 5? I don't from what I read, again I hope we find the right guy.
- LeafMan

thats why i wonder if trading down a couple spots might be the way to go.. grab an extra second or third rounder to drop to 8th or 9th where you can grab a guy like gaunce. he may not be the superstar the leaf fans want but he has all the tools that are sorely missing from the leafs depth chart

yea...we need a center. Either he makes trades for a center or does his best to grab the best center available in the draft.

I don't know much about Galy...is he the best choice for the Leafs of all the picks?

"available" is the key word...Grigorenko is the better of the two centers I think who plays in the quebec league.

Luke Schenn and our #5 to get Yakupov? '

Oilers get Schenn and can take Forsberg or a d-man like Dumba,Rielly or Reinhart

I think if a trade will happen it will be Columbus trying to get their well-deserved #1 pick back. Oilers should be getting Ryan Murray. This is just too much, talk about distracting us from playoffs eh?
