they just might blow it up now.

will be interesting to see what they do with iginla.

.. and if they trade iginla.. what they sit fit to do with kiprusoff.

- joel878

If Kiprusoff is on the block, Burke is going to kill to be first in line. He knows his job depends on it.

I'd say he does once he says he's ready to relocate the team and that hooking and grabbing is way out of whack.

You are about to become mr popular on the oil thread.

Burke looked such the fool suggesting the Pittsburgh model was/is essentially based on winning the Crosby lottery when the Pens are a powerhouse without him. Malkin, Staal, Fleury, Letang, Orpik......quite a lot better than the core of the Leafs, to say nothing of the Neal, Kunitz trades.
- Domidives

Yeah. And then he talks about our building blocks: Kessel, Phaneuf, Lupul, and our second line as the 'building blocks' already being there. Wow. He really still doesn't see that this 'core' is simply not even close to being good enough.

The whole Brandon Saad thing is irrelevant to this. Yes, I am aware of the trade. The point is your record breaking fail. DANIEL Catenacci (did you read that correctly?) is 81st in scoring in the OHL playoffs. You thought he was first..... Point is your lover isn't looking like he's living up to your hype of being a great one. But you do have a history of failing in the department. (see Tlusty, Pogge,Earl, etc)
- dionschenn

24th in OHL scoring, 33 goals, 72 points, 100+ PIM. 3rd round pick. Horrible player.

How about your glorious prediction of the Leafs finishing 7th to 10th? Boy did you fail there. And hard. How about you predict they finish between 1st and 15th next year?

Brandon Saad. Draft pick traded by the Leafs. 2nd in playoff scoring.

No big deal.

From CGY vis TOR.

Looks like he took the long way to get there...and look who was drafted in front of him, Victor Rask, bet CAR is kicking themselves over that one eh pal?

I think it's great when other fans get in on the yapping. But for some reason when it's a fan of the team the biggest female dog ever owns, it loses it's appeal.

From Calgary because they had to get their own 2nd pick back so they could trade it to Boston.

i'm not on board with the idea of trading a big package for kiprusoff either. no need for a goalie who will be pushing 37 by the time this franchise is competitive.

Pretty much. I would have to agree with you there.

I'd hate to think of the asking price, but wouldn't think for one minute that BB wouldn't do it.

If we had to do it I'd much sooner lose next year's first than this years as Kipper would guarantee that pick would be no higher than 10th and no lower than 14th

I don't want to kick you when you're down. But Jeez. Didn't say he was a horrible player, just said he's not going to be the superstar you called him to be. Philippe Dupuis had some nice OHL stats too. But Daniel Catenacci leads the league in playoff scoring right? No, that's just a fantasy you had about your lover.

If I'm not mistaken, Kiprusoff has a NTC. Sadly, I really, really do not see him waiving it to come to....TML.

Never happened. I can see your horrible memory is back at work. I said he was a good player to pick in the 2nd/3rd round. Never said he was a superstar. Work on your horrible memory. It's killing you.

Well then I guess BB will just have to put in an offer sheet for Price

But Yeah it seems like Kipper has been pretty insistent on liking life in CGY even if the team does suck
