Carter Ashton is nothing right now. He doesn't belong in the NHL and he may well never be in the NHL.

I can tell you what is going to happen he's going to trade the Pick plus for Rick Nash. Then he is going to tell the fan base we needed help now and that pick may never turn into an NHL star and if it does it would take 4 years.

I can see Burke trading that draft pick but not for Nash. He knows he needs a center and Nash isn't a center.

If the Leafs go after Nash, their sales pitch better be Lupul, Gunnarsson and Kadri. Outside of that, it doesn't make sense for them.

Well if you think Franzen is soft, you won't be pleased with Nash. Nash may be big but he prefers to play with Datsyuk-like finesse before he does with his size. You should know that by now.

No way the Kings do that. Why would they get rid of their best center for a winger when they already have enough wingers?

I don't see burke moving this pick at all. He has seen the backlash not only he gets, but the player he brings in for a 1st round pick. If he trades another top 5 pick for a player, he is going to be eaten alive and he knows it.
