I've got Rangers, Bruins, Panthers and Pens. The reason I took the Panthers is mainly due to the track record of Southeast Division teams in the playoffs. They always get discounted because their won/loss record isn't the greatest then they end up in the Conference Finals or Stanley Cup Finals.

Washington is too inconsistent for me to pick over the Bruins, but this is one where I wouldn't be surprised to see the Caps take the series.

I think the Pens beat Philly in 6. Sorry Paul.

As for the Rangers; this will be a classic example of why the regular season series doesn't mean much. I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep here, sad as I am to say that.

Marcel Goc is gonna light it up this year!!! Joel Ward will have to watch last year's highlights. Hopefully we will get to see Sully play in the bridge again this year!

303 squashed that rumor this morning. I've read all over the place that no such offer was in place.

As far as Gill, we should all be channeling good energy toward his LBI. I also do not want 2 6'+ defensive tandems and a third pairing of midgets.

303 also squashed that silly rumor that the Preds were going to Gold Jerseys this season. So no offense to 303, but they don't know jack unless the team wants them to know, and I doubt anyone from the Preds would officially come out and confirm this rumor.

IMO Rinne is our best player every night, no one should make more money than him. 9 million is about 3 million to high. Hal Gill has to play! he is so good at his role

That report is about as reliable as the results of a Russian election.

The only way that could be remotely possible is if Poile has completely given up on Suter AND Weber. With what those two guys will command and what Pekka is already due, you could never sign Rads to that contract and keep all 4 of them.

I seem to remember when news about Radulov bolting for Russia first broke, it was being reported he was going to be making something like $8M per year when in reality it was like $3 or 4M. I think the Russians have a problem converting the currency exchange rate or something.

CNBC is Canadian broadcast and not avail here. SPSO (Sports South) is Ch 1676 (HD) on Comcast and is where games are for the 11th, 13th, 17th, 20th (so far). Game on 15th is on NBCSports HD (the old VS).

CNBC is the national broadcast I believe the first round always has local broadcasts too, in which case we'd be able to view the game on SS and the CNBC game will be blacked out. Detroit will see it on their local Fox Sports channel as well. The rest of the country can watch the game on CNBC.

Yes, you always take Russian news reports with a huge grain of salt, but I don't believe that, if that number is correct, that it means Poile as given up on signing Suter AND Weber. Suter maybe, but not Weber.

If Radulov is signed I think it's very possible that Weber stays, even if Suter leaves.
