Saw on another board they were killing Jordan Staal. It may be me, but he seems to play very well against the Flyers, him and TK. Malkin and Crosby can and likely will get theirs, it's the secondary guys like Staal, Kennedy, Letang, and Neal that you gotta limit. Letang is limited greatly by staying out of the box!

I think if you limit Malkin, Crosby, Neal, and Letang to 1 goal a game, Flyers win this in 5. I'm not too worried about thier secondary scoring. Our secondary scoring is much better then theirs... Our goaltending and Defenses are a push too.

This series will come down to the Penguins stars vs the Flyers depth at forward. If Flyers can shut down the stars (like 1 goal a game) and the Flyers depth scores like Briere, Schenn, Talbot, etc... then I think the Flyers win the series...

He rounds out the triumvirate of my favorite Flyers, Hartnell, Bryz, and Grossmann. Told someone that not too long ago and they thought I was nuts for actually admitting Bryz to be a fav. Even after his performances in March.

My favorites are Hartnell, Grossmann, and Laviolette. Lavi doesn't have a jersey, so I just want a Flyers tie like the one he wore last week.

Side note: I had the hardest time finding a Flyers tie for my wedding two years ago. Had to borrow one from another Flyers' season ticket holder who had one.

Yea me too. Back in the day I had ESPN Hockeynight and would track stats on my own since it was before games did that stuff. Sigh.

Been playing since NHL 95 on the old SNES. I switched to the 2K series when EA Sports was just going through the motions from 2004 - 2007 before returning for NHL 08.

Do you expect more 2-1 or 5-4 games in this series?

I think your selling players such as Kunitz, Dupuis, and Staal short. Dupuis had more ES points then Claude Giroux this Season. The Pens were the top offensive team in the League this year, and their secondary scorers were a big part of that. I wouldn't call Briere a depth scorer either. He's going to have to be one of the Flyers top scorers if the Flyers are going to make a run.
