I wanted to throw up last night every time I saw them advertise the Draft Party at the game. Also I noticed they are promoting the shat out of that Brooklyn game next season. That I can understand but still promoting the draft party??? Unless your kid wants to go I can't see how any real Islander fan can still attend these??

They actually had a table set up with 2 guys sitting there for the Barclay's Center on the concourse.

Any draft party outside of the Tavares one is stupid. Unless there's a consensus pick I can't imagine it would be fun. The Tavares one was the only draft party I went (or wanted to go) to.

Best part of last night was after the game when that sh!thole Tattoo Lou's booth started throwing out their shirts for free and a riot nearly ensued between the trashbags excited about the free shirts and us normal people who were just trying to get through the crowd so we could get the hell out of there.

Now Vukota you know this is the one day a year Garth works. I should not even say work because it's not like he even trades for a meaningful player. Charles gets to look like a big shot sitting at that table and you want to take that away from them?

That looked like an ACL type injury. Could mean a full year recovery. Interesting situation.

Well, most likely we will end the season among the bottom 5 (I believe the worst we can do is 6th) giving us a punchers chance at winning the lottery. If that does happen & we are fortunate to move up to the 1st overall pick. It will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts when Snow and company pass on Nail and choose someone else.

Neilsen can play on a second line... decent shut down checking guy.

It's tough to tell with some of these guys.

They look fantastic one game and horrible others.

I would love to see Martin and Haley play together next year... maybe with Casey.

Konopka was the ultimate team player... always has been. Even back in his Jr's days.
