I saw that rib story. I'm somewhat superstitious, so I have thought about this. The Flyers can simply send an anonymous member of their traveling contingent to the rib place and buy the ribs. Crisis averted.
- PLindbergh31

I thought the same thing. Although it might seem a little suspicious to show up and order 60 racks of ribs (or whatever they order) from the to-go window after the game.

I agree, but eventually to reach the goal each team has, you are going to have to beat whoever stands in front of you.
- PLindbergh31

I know, but this Devils team from what I've watched and what they've said, seems a lot different than other teams. I am a lot more confident about this team then I am about the division-winning teams post-lockout. It sounds weird, but it's true.

It sucks we lost Josefson to his fractured wrist, he was playing really well and he gave us a great fourth line.

The biggest positive tonight is, Bryzgalov looked solid. His lateral movement was much better tonight, and he was sharp.

Probably only get the "we'll know more tomorrow" lines tonight.

Apparently Torts went off on the Pens in his presser.

i'll have to try to check that out on msg network tomorrow, love a good torts freakout

How can you not detest the Rangers coach?
- PLindbergh31

Because he's done a good job with that team.

Hate him or not, he's a good coach. Douchebaggery aside.

He's right though, there isn't any players like that, they don't have their Elias.

Also MAB is looking sharp and plays with a edge. I would like to see him in the Pens series, need that physical edge

Indeed.

I also like that they were able to reduce the top 4 D minutes. At the same time they are resting weary folks they are getting Lilja back into game shape and Marc Andre is getting more comfortable with the responsibility.

I like our chances going into the playoffs. We need to get some healthy bodies but the Flyers will be okay.

I like MAB, but I would much rather have the experience of Kubina and Lilja on the third pairing. Of course, I'm assuming Grossmann is ready to go.

I understand he's done a good job, but that doesn't mean he's a likable guy.

Does Bill Bellichick, or Phil Jackson give you the warm and fuzzies?

true, also I think Bryz getting into the pressure cooker early in Philly has really helped him alot. When the playoffs roll around he will have been through the pressure cooker and I think he will be more resillient down the road

Grossmann, and Briere are paramount. I don't think JVR is that important.

Well, Mook, the Giants beat the guy like a drum when the stakes are the biggest, so Billy B is ok in my book!

I need help with something. I am considering going to Pitts for game 1. I can't watch a playoff game without screaming my head off. It's virtually impossible for me. I have never been to an opponents home ice. What do others think? Is this fun or not worth being killed in enemy territory?
