I saw him shy of a year before he kicked it. I've never been so excited and ready to rock as the day I saw him take the stage. He broke the crystal ball, he stood up and shouted, he did it all. Man, he really knew what rock was all about. Nay he continue to rock on the proverbial Silver Mountain. - BulliesPhan87
He's one of the few I wanted to see and never did. Fatherhood has its price I was on a roll seeing all the big shows until my life tooka serious change of course.
Yes, I understand. You can have a physical war that drains a team's strength against a bottom seed, too. Look at 1996. That Tampa series really banged the Flyers up-especially LeClair, who was basically playing the rest of the playoffs on one leg. - Jsaquella
Irked at Ulanov and Petit for their knee-targeting shenanigans.
Let me try to end all the questions of a return by@NHLFlyers Andresj Meszaros. I'm told he is done for the season. Tough break. - JoeRussomanno
That should come at no surprise. He is going to be out 6-8 weeks. He would need to skate and rehab just to get into game shape. The Flyers are better off in the long run sitting him out completely and allowing the surgery to heal properly.

Yeah, even with the "official announcement" I wasn't optimistic we'd see him again before September

I'm sorry I beg to differ. Roo is right, just because you won a divsion shouldn't automatically seed you higher than anyone. The panthers are more than 10 pts behind teams seeded lower and imo is wrong. It's like teams wining a bad division in football with 7-9 records getting into the playoffs over teams with winning records in good divisions. IT's a stupid practice and needs to stop. YOu won your poop division good here's a banner. Otherwise if you suck like the panthers do, then they should be wherever their point total puts them. IT makes it even worse that they play in a crap division and have fewer points than the Flyers, Pens, Devilas and Senators. - JoeRussomanno
To each his own, and in my opinion I don't agree. You win your division, you get a top seed. That's how it's been and how it should be.
