This team has quit big time after the deadline. As long as Wang demands nothing and Snow and Cappy continue to do nothing these players are not going to kill themselves for this team.

What the (frank) is Howie rambling about missing more calls with the 2 ref system because the "younger refs" are afraid to make a call that an "older ref" missed because he didn't want to overrule him? Give me a break.

Auger is definitely missing some chiclets after taking Mac's stick in the mouth. In other news, I don't care...at all.

I hate the two-ref system, but not because of older or younger refs or whatever Howie was saying. I think there's less consistency with two refs because two people see the same play differently. So something is let go by one ref on one side of the ice and an identical play may be called by the other ref at the other side. And they can both call penalties anywhere at any time, so you never really know. I'm sure I've said this before here, but I've always compared it to having two separate home plate umpires with two different strike zones calling the same game, and you never knew which one was going to call which pitch.

The players are probably thinking we'll start doing our job when you do yours. What's the worse that can happen they get traded or released and go to a much better team? Ownership and management have to have pride in the team before you expect the players to have pride in the team.

the way PA finished off his season I wouldn't give him more then 3 mill/season. At this point nobody deserves a spot on this roster, everyone should be in play. One thing I would like to see get done this summer is the C be put on Tavares. Streit is not a captain, he's a little female dog.

Having Howie Rose do the games is one of the biggest jokes of the Islanders organization. He is a diehard Rangers fan. When he was on FAN he was making fun of the Islanders so I gave him a call and gave him my two cents...he hung up on me...he's a tool...

Did he really take the board? Probably did more coaching in that moment than Cappy has in two years. I'm only sorry I missed the game because of the Bruce Ratner interview. I did catch it on IPB. We've heard more from Bruce than our own idiot owner. Make Brooklyn happen.
