I personally don't see how it was a factor in my opinion.

I guess what is being implied is that Voracek was tired from his long shift which contributed to him being lazy with his head down which then caused him to be vulnerable. Thats my guess.

The leafs have a couple gem dmen in gunnarson and gardiner. After watching Grossman and Kubina for a few weeks...I'm even happier that JVR is still a flyer and L Schenn is still a leaf.

With the new CBA coming up... does anyone see changes happening with the way points are awarded? I don't think they'll get rid of the skills competition but maybe they'll award more points for a regulation win.

I agree, Loved how Grossmann made Franzen his whoopin boy in front of the crease. Its like Coburn feeds off the agressiveness that Grossmann brings. Love the moves Homer made, It seems like Bryz and co. have figured out how to play with each other and everyone loves each other.

Life is well. Everyday above ground is a good one. Bryz is the man. It was a matter of time before he got comfortable and turned his game up. He is going to be a beast come playoff time.

I apologize if this was discussed before and I missed it... but does anyone know anything about this goalie the Flyers signed from Ohio State..2 years $1.85 million?? I also thought the Flyers were at the contract max.

Yea, I was guessing that it must kick in next year. I've heard good thing about the Finnish golaie the Flyers signed and Meltzer put up a link that talked very highly about Joackim Ericksson who the Flyers drafted but didnt sign.

The kid from Ohio State is getting over $900k a year. Seems like a lot to me to just play for the Phantoms

That's not a CBA issue. That is an issue for the Competition Committee to provide a recommendation to the NHL Board of Governor's in accordance with the NHL Constitution and By-laws.

Meh. Leafs couldn't even do us a solid and beat Pitt tonight while the Pens had some no-name in net. I hope they all get some nasty canadian clap from one of Lupul's girls.

Yeah that was kind of scary. I was very surprised that he skated to the bench without any help.
