As Brad pointed out (yesterday?), Briere has never been *this* unproductive as a Flyer. So there is justification for concern BUT... until he has an unproductive playoff run, there is hope. - Flyskippy
Briere looks tentative to me. The thing that always impressed me was his guts to go in to the hard areas to get goals. Behind the net, in front of the net. He isn't really doing that. Even less so than in other regular seasons.
In the playoffs he always ramps it up and I hope it is the same again.
I feel like all of the little things are starting to come together just in time for this team....starting in net. If Bryz gets hot, and it seems like he is, all of the sudden this team's chances take on a whole new dynamic don't you think?

briere is afraid cause hits to the head are legal and he's small so it's easy to hit him in the head

I don;t know if he's been this unproductive ever. It's worrisome, but you got to have faith in a guy that has done what he's done can find his mojo in time. It's like having faith in Bryzgalov when he was struggling, that he'd find his game.
