We won't know this till he plays multiple games. I don't believe they can go into next season having no clue what potential he has.

Yeah I think you take your chances with a top 5 pick and try to draft a really good prospect. A centerman that can make DesharnaisPlekanec expendable.

Yeah, maybe, only not every year does one become available. And as much as we need a center, the problem with this team all begins and ends with the D.
- shinebox

Yeah when you have Kaberlol and Campololi, sure.

We have some good D prospects coming up. I would not be against getting Weber, but not with our 2012 1st. Anyways the offer sheet would start with the 2013 first.

You really think it's necessary with a healthy Markov and Kaberle?

Do we have the rest of the picks in that year to make that deal happen? Out of pure speculation and mostly out of curiousity i mean?

Plekanec >>>> Desharnais

Plekanec's trade value is greater to habs than his on ice impact at this point. plus there's the age factor.

I was kidding. I'm not at all looking forward to kaberle remaining in the lineup for any reason.

An offer sheet for Shea Weber would cost us four 1st round picks.
