Love this headline....

"Fire sale in Montreal continues".... the AK trade was HUGE!

- RENATO6

Wish we had Gaustad now instead. Jesus. No doubt PG/Gainey is way worse then Houle and have done far more damage.

Let's face it, no matter who the Habs sign, or how many games they win in any given season, we can be certain of one thing - you will always complain, and you will NEVER be happy,
- hscesq

And you're happy when they have guys like Kovalev and Kostitsyn floating around.

Guess we don't have the same standards.

Bennett will play in the NHL.

MacMillan is the best freshman for the ND. A list that includes the toddler grimaldi.

Perhaps but unlikely with the Habs unless they move some other prospects. Habs have the following D men coming up.

Beaulieu
Tinordi
Ellis
Dietz

Rene Bourque is a floater, they should have traded him for a 2nd in 2015

Yup, with Weber, Subban and Gorges as a core, we're pretty full on D.

His press box numbers will be staggering. Just for ND or will his ECHL numbers blow us all out of the water in 5 years?

Good point. Habs are on the right track with Cole and Pacioretty, but regressed a little with the Bourque trade. He's lazy. He's the new AK except not Russian.

Emelin too. Still need a big shutdown top 4. But maybe Tinordi can turn into that.

Bennett is older than all of these and has a higher ceiling than 3.

Bennett could be joining the dogs next year, even though that's unlikely. Been on the top pair with Pateryn for the whole year, in the 3rd ranked Michigan team.

He'll join Hamilton most likely in 2013-2014, at the same time as Dietz.

To me he's in front of Ellis and Dietz on the depth chart.

We'll see.

I agree PG and Gainey have done damage but not sure if they were worse then Houle, the Mario Tremblay fiasco was pretty bad.

Would not be surprised to see Habs draft a Dman in top 5 and then flip one of Beaulieu or Tinordi for another 1st to land a center in the mid range.
