20 goals and 40 points for a couple years out of downie is much more of a sure thing than a late first, imo.

but even more surprising is dealing quincey, a guy they could have had for at least one more year and would immediately become their #3 behind hedman and brewer. their defense is putrid.

This nutter loves the team.

For all of the drama this season, the goaltending, the inconsistency in defensive coverage, afternoon games, etc.

For all of that, throughout challenging times it is one thing that brings a team through it. That is belief. Belief that you have it in you, believing in eachother. The team now stands against a foe that is on a hot streak and solid at home. The time has come to put the past behind, and stand together.

The time has come for this team to rise. The time has come to believe. I believe.

I had my Flyers car flag up today. Not as many Jets flags as usual, there was a huge blizzard and the winds are crazy.

I threw up mine to fly. Few thumbs down while driving, but best part was a guy in a big excavator truck honking his horn and giving me a thumbs up.

The Jets remind me a lot of the devils.

Pavalec has been incredible since his slow start this season. Dont let the stats fool you, he can steal this game.

The Jets play D first and try to score mainly off the transition with their speed. Buff loves to pinch and can get caught often. Flyers need to back-check hard. That will be the difference in todays game. If they can play simple north/south hockey and use their legs, they win.
