He and MJL are probably the two most important posters on the site. - Mr_Clean
MJL…. He’s an odd case. An occasional visitor for the most part. Then, through the lockout, he was on here nearly 24 hours a day, spreading NHLPA propaganda, in some of the most blatantly biased posts I’ve ever seen. Then, no lockout, he’s back to an occasional poster. It’s like the lockout was something very personal to him. But, ONLY the lockout.

Indeed. Then people took him personally. It was a strange, dark time.
You're obviously the other most important poster because this thread is basically dedicated to you
Yes, for me he is not a contender to win the trophy... In My Opinion he is not good enough defensively to be a Norris Trophy Winner... The fact that he was nominated means, to me, that they are starting to take offensive production into consideration more than in prrevious years.
And no, that is not a negative comment. It is about as negative of a commnet as saying Kessel will not be nominated for the Selke... Karlsson is not a lights-out defender at the moment, and that is why imo he will not win the Norris.
I said he would be in contention for the Hart Trophy imo, but Malkin will most likely win that one.
So again, I am not bashing the kid. - mfreedman
Look, he's a Norris finalist, and using whatever the criteria is the PHWA deemed him to be one of the top three in NHL.
Get over it. It's not the Stanley Cup.
What are you going to do if he wins?? - Doppleganger

Just watched the Jets/Sens game. It was interesting watching all of Winnipeg Jets strip Karlsson of the puck time and time again. He really did create a lot of turnovers. Not the good kind for the Sens. I'd say it happened about 7 times.

Is it just me, or is Gonchar a big effing mess this year? He's looked brutal, and I mean absolutely terrible the few times I've seen him. You're lucky his contract is done after this year.

he is hit or miss, with more misses than hits. He has been dealing with a lower body injury all year that has kept him out of a few games. Not sure how serious it is or if it is still bothering him. I hope he gets his game in gear to create some trade value for the deadline.
