Turris has 20 points in 36 games since joining Ottawa. That is .555 ppg for a kid who missed training camp and a large part of the season. His numbers are actually pretty good, Murray is really happy with his play. When someone who has been known to say that Spezza is the worst contract in the NHL and Karlsson is a horrible defenseman now says that the Turris trade was a really awful deal, perhaps, you should take the Turris comment as a complement.

But, when you set him up by insisting that he is a better player than Turris you are not being very fair or realistic. This is one of my great frustrations with Leaf fans. Expectations get raised beyond a players capacity to perform and when he fails to meet the false hope everyone starts to dump on him (Schenn, Kadri et., al). I don't think you are being fair to Bozak in pushing an expectation that may reach well beyond his potential.

If Turris doesn't start improving over the next few seasons without a doubt Bozak will be the better player. That's not me speaking highly of Bozak, that's just an indication of how mediocre Turris has been thus far in his career.

Well I thought Turris was the best forward on either team last night. This kid does everything really well. Ottawa coaching and management are really pleased with his progress. It seems the only people second guessing his play are mostly Leaf fans. Do you think this might be telling us something.

Some better tallent on his wing would be helpful as well,alfie is still a decent player but he doesnt have the footspeed anymore.We need better wingers anybody that watches ottawa can see that.Even spezza needs better,greening is not a front line player and on most teams neither is michalek

You're welcome to look it up, if you like. I know he's significantly worse right now, and the development curve at his age is pretty flat by this point, so its unlikely he ever improves as much as it would require for him to be as good as Bozak.

Oh, I also know that the Sens traded their top prospect and a second for a player not as good as bozak.

I am not going to look it up but think Turris was younger which is an important factor. Also Bozaks numbers last year were not that great and all of a sudden playing with two guys that are having great years he is much improved. Is he that good or a product of his line mates?
