You wish. He got fleeced. Top prospect and a second for a dime a dozen player.

Burkied??? Hell, Burke got a better player in Bozak for free.

Your teams top prospect, and a second round pick, is a LOT to pay for a guy almost 23 years old, who can barely crack the lineup, given second line ice, can't crack 30 points.

You mean the defense man BM traded for at the draft then decided to trade away for KT

Why would I be bitter? Second line centre? If your second line centre is scoring 30 points a year, you're in trouble.
- prock

.5 points per game in his first shot real shot in a top 6 role. at worst for what he has shown so far he falls into a matt stajan type player. better than a 3rd liner but not consistent enough for a 2nd liner.

Yeah, that one, that he gave up a first round pick for, PLUS a second for Turris.

You heard PM saythey paid so little to acquire him (this morning)..........so I'll take his word, over yours any day.

He's a minus 12 in the NHL (Ottawa & Phoenix) and a minus 10 in Portland in the AHL............see a pattern here.

I didnt listen, I was at work before 8am when he comes on the radio.

I have no doubt he said that, being a great GM...he worked for the Sens... he likes to fluff them up

You are a fool BM made the trade for that 'top prospect' and was proven correct in doing so.Now he trades said prospect for a more rounded forward prospect that has shown more promise than Rundblad at the nhl level and he overpaid

You're right, Rundblad was a frequent Healthy scratch in Ottawa, and even more when he joined his new team. After being scratched for a dozen games he was sent packing to the AHL where he was a Minus 10.

Turris on the other hand has not missed a game since being sent to Ottawa.

Great, he's playing. But he sucks, and you gave up your best prospect (are you familiar with the word?), PLUS a second.

You realize Rundblad is actually playing now, right? You realize he's two draft years behind right? You realize Turris was still in the AHL at this point, right?

10 points in 15 games, pretty damn good. For a Dman. I noticed the points per game, that's funny. Rundblad provides better offense than Turris.

i think its too early to judge turris' potential and the trade itself. His overall game as been excellent, playing well in the defensive zone, good transition and gets scoring chances. its his 7.7% shooting percentage that his killing him offensively over 1% below his previous career low. He definitely has the potential to be a 50-60 point player, and until he goes through a full training camp in season with the sens i don't think its right to write him off just yet.

Why do you stick you foot it your mouth. Do you purposely say stuff (that can be fact checked) that make you look foolish??

Turris scored 19 goals for the Coyotes, in 143 games.
He's scored 8 goals for the Senators in 36 games.

I don't know what kinda math they taught you in school, but it sure looks like he's scoring at a much greater rate in Ottawa, than he was in Phoenix.

The other thing he's leaving out, Turris was pretty much a permanent healthy scratch on Phoenix, earlier in the year. Rundblad has actually cracked the Yotes lineup more than turris could.

Very wrong, your normally more astute.

Turris played really well even though he was hitting goal posts and being held off the score sheet. This is a good kid. Over the last few weeks he has found some offensive jam and is finding the net. His Ottawa numbers are actually pretty decent.

More important, he seems to be drawing the #1 line for the other team every night on the road. He has been very responsible. He will not hurt you in the playoffs. My guess is in the tough going of the playoffs his game will improve even more. I really like the kid. But I like watching all the young players grow their game.

Do you think Murray deserves to be named executive of the year for his rebuild of the Senators?
