he does mention Sweden winning WJC as his fav. moment..Zib scoring the "Golden Goal"

he does have what sounds like an Irish/swedish accent

Look it was a stretch at best. Let it go. Regroup and come back with something edgier. You can do it.

I actually like to point out that other teams score at incredibly high rates while he is on the ice. Moreso than any other Sens Dman (or player, for that matter). Why is that?

Was watching Thats Hockey2Nite a couple of nights ago, and they were forecasting a friction filled relationship between Randy Carlye and Kessel, as he pays very little attention to his defensive responsibilities.

They Pointed out that he leads the NHL at being on the ice when his team is scored on, at even strength.

Successful teams have ALL their players buying into a defensive system that everyone must do their part, in order for the team to win games.

So, it's kinda like your argument that Karlsson is not paying attention, or improving his defensive side of the game...............which was true last season and the first month or two this season. He has improved his defensive role as the season has progressed along with his outstanding offensive output. He is currently sitting with a +14.

clearly you don't watch the games. Kessel shut down Ovechkin a couple of weeks ago.

You're correct, I don't watch leaf games, I watch them only when they play vs the Senators.
That's why I'm more familiar with the play of the Senators., more than you who does not.

But your little joke doesn't dismiss what I heard on Thats Hockey2Nite (TSN) when they Pointed out that Kessel leads the NHL at being on the ice when his team is scored on, at even strength, and how he and Carlye mat but heads IF he does not improve in this aspect of his game.

You're the big "don't need to watch games, only need to read stats" guy here, not me. I'm sure you can either confirm what was stated on TH2N, and even post the link to your secret stats site that you so often use in your arguments.

Karlsson played head to head against the Rangers first line and shut them down last night. The kid was flying. Cowen was just pounding everything down low. Spezza played a very strong defensive (playoff style) game.

But, the player that impressed me the most was Turris. The kid has a real edge to his game and he seems to have no fear about getting his nose dirty. Lots of grit on this team.

Had Karlsson not been on for the empty net goal, he would have been a minus on the night.

You should have seen Kessel the other night. He went head to head with Malkin, and totally held him Malkin off the scoresheet. Malkin couldn't do anything, he was totally helpless against Kessel. Kessel was flying. He knocked Malkin off the puck 11 times. And scored a goal. Easily a Selke trophy caliber effort.

ps - you're making that up. It's not even true. It's not even remotely close to true. You're not very smart, making things up that can so easily be shown to be false. Doesn't that seem somewhat stupid to you? Why are you doing things that are so clearly very stupid? You know what that will make people think of you?

I guess you did not see the panel between periods that discussed the Norris. One coach, one GM, both saying Karllson deserves more than a nomination that he can as of today be ranked ahead of the big three.

Seeing that the leafs have been all but eliminated from the playoffs, all you have left is to troll through these threads, harassing fans of teams who make the playoffs on a regular basis.

Pretty pathetic, but keep on trolling, as it seems that's all you have.

Pierre McGuire was saying this morning that Ottawa got a great player in Turris, and did not have to give up to much to get him.

Pierre talks about the Sens win over the Rangers, Ben Bishop, the weakness in the Rangers. Pierre also touches on the play of Kyle Turris and Jared Cowan, the Sabres and the Devils.

LOL.

He's going on 23. He won't be getting much bigger, if at all.
