i know they are..but why would howson trade a top player in the league.. for a 1st round pick and 3 underachievers in LA. does La even have a 20 goal scorer that could be traded for Nash ??? To aquire Nash LA should have to give up a 1st rnd pick,bernier,penner,jack johnson,dustin brown, minimum...even then out of those who i just named who will put points up??? good luck LA.... 2 1st rnd picks schenn kadri grabo done deal.. grabs 60 points last year gunna get 60 again this year kadri great prospect who has never bin given a true shot... wilson sends him down if he doesnt score or get a point. Halak, Ward, Khabibulin, Hiller, all are either too important to their team except Khabibulin) and have a future heavy $ hit. Halak is fine at 3.7 for 2 more years, but why would STL do it?

Thats idiotic. Burke has done some amazing things: Kessel, Phanuef, Gardner, the list goes on. The only thing he has done wrong is stick with Wilson, and he whats so bad about loyalty and giving the guy a shot with a real roster? Shot given, time to pull the plug on Ron. However, I guess you could also critisize some of his FA choices, but they only cost money. He can Jettison Komi or Connolly whenever he wants.
