The Leafs for sure need a tough ctr with good hands...but the biggest change this team could make is gassing the head coach and the goalie coach...Before Reimer and Gus got deep into the Leafs system they played much better before Allaire started to coach them...They sit wy too back in the crease and are not square to the shooter...rarely..what confidence they have seems all but lost as they look uncomfortable in their coached styles..(not discounting the many error the Defense have made by the way)...Wilson fails to get these young guys focused...losing 5-0 on one of the biggest nights of the year for these kids vs habs, then sh&%tting the bed out west in huge games when you are in eighth is a coaching error..Wilson is not getting these young guys going he has to go!! IMHO..Dallas eakins should be brought up to coach these guys to season's end and go from there...dont let loyalty be your weakness Burke!!

Patience.......

We can't play consistently because our system is not maintainable in the long run (Coach)

Our defensive d-men appear terrible because they are not being used in a system that lets them use their assets properly (coach)

Our goalies are hung out to dry, game in and game out, because we don't support them as a team (coach)

Anyone who wants to blame Mac on that goal should realize that we had 2 forwards already out near VAN's blue-line, with one defenseman passing our blue-line. Until we have control of the puck, we need to have more than 1 guy back, but Wilson likes te d to jump up in the play and for the forwards to leave the zone early. Better teams can take advantage of that easily.
