I hate to sound like a broken record, but unless the Leafs plan on trying to win games 7 - 6 we should be targeting a #1 goalie not Nash, Getzlaf and definitely not Oduya.

I'm even willing to take Luongo at this point but Vancouver would have to cut a deal because of his contract and the fact they would love to unload him.

You dont need a goaltender to get Nash.


CBJ will take a netminder as an added bonus, but there is no way the henge piece of this deal(which I've also been saying wont happen) is in goal. if you trade Nash for a goaltender you have no offense left. It just wont happend. Nash will be traded for a D man, or a forward.... Someone who the GM can justify the trading of Rick by acquiring a player that "doesn't come around too often."

Wouldn't have been easier to list who u want to keep....

Burke's stubborness that he doesn't need a different goaltending tandem is setting us up for failure too.
