Dreger broke it first and Kypreos broke the details. Ek arrived late as always.

Bryz=goalie for the next decade

- wingz4life

After seeing him crap himself for 4 years down in the desert I knew this was a mistake from day 1. The guy can't handle the spotlight.

I love how Philly thought that they fixed their problems by giving a Russian a lifetime deal.

The only exception is the Kings... especially if they get shutout again tonight.
- JDJ

Yes, I could see them offering up Bernier and Johnson and perhaps a pick or prospect. Would they consider moving Richards who apparently hasn't done much in LA ? I haven't considered cap space obviously.

JMO, if I'm Howson, I'm looking for JVR or Couturier, Coburn and a pick. He needs a defenseman in a bad way.
- Oneonta Penguin

I understand that.... but if I'm absorbing that contract... which has a No movement clause.... I want a few young players that can counteract Bryz's cap hit for a few years or be pieces for trade this summer or next season..... That's my line of thinking.

In either case, EK was no where near the forefront in this... so lets leave it at that.

didn't you read Ek's state of the union address the other night? I did, only reason why - I was high as a (frank)ing kite and was waiting for NHL2012 to load on the xbox but regardless! Ek's job isn't to break trades, his job is to give us info and all the talks leading up to such events. An (e4) on hockeybuzz is much more valuable than anything you'll get from TSN.ca.

You guys are so critical Eklund, just leave him alone ok!!!! Jesus!!!!

Douglas Murray for the Sharks has a fractured Adams Apple. Damn that has to be the first of that.

JVR, Bob, and a pick for Nash is a good deal but wouldn't you guys be over the cap by a ton?..... A big contract would have to go the other way I would think

that post was one of the funniest things he's posted in a long time. Never gets old watching him meltdown after being publicly embarrassed for the 257th time

Are those lead paint chips or regular paint chips?

Lead, at least. Possibly radioactive, with asbestos sprinkles.

EK is not in the business of reporting trades, he is in the business of rumours.

Which is kinda like a doctor saying, I am in the business of cutting people open, but I am not in the business of fixing the problems or sewing them up afterwards.

I like how Mason is being attached to Nash now, as if he has any value left whatsoever.
- S Kaspar Rollins

Mason might have more value than what's in net for the Flyers right now.
