Most reports are consistent on one thing, the chances of Nash still being in Columbus next year are pretty slim.

Most teams gearing up for a play off run are not going to be willing to give up what CBJ seems to want for Nash. I'm thinking more and more he finishes the season with the BJ and gets traded in the off season.

The point is that TSN is ahead of the field - especially over Kypreos

Douglas Murray for the Sharks has a fractured Adams Apple. Damn that has to be the first of that.

I agree...it's nearly impossible to pull off a trade of that magnitude at this point in the year, and since it's such a massive trade for Columbus too there's no reason not to wait until the offseason.

If I'm Howson and the Flyers really are the trading partner for Nash and I'm stuck taking on the horrible contract of Bryz that Homer signed him to this summer, I'm demanding JVR and either Schenn or Couturier plus a pick for Nash,Mason, and a pick. Anything less is setting Columbus back another 4 years.

Also are the Flyers going to try and outscore teams like the Caps of 2009 and 2010?.... we all saw how well that worked our for them.

Depends on what the plus is. It had better be a very good defenseman.

The short list is obviously not completely set in stone, otherwise there wouldn't be so many teams talked about by real insiders as being in it.

JMO, if I'm Howson, I'm looking for JVR or Couturier, Coburn and a pick. He needs a defenseman in a bad way.

While you'd think even a blind monkey on a steady diet of paint chips and Jager wouldn't be capable of botching a Nash deal, this is Scott Howson we're talking about. Setting Columbus back 4 years is significantly minimizing the amount of damage the man can do.

I'm surprised they're even letting him talk to teams about Nash. I've heard a few rumblings he might get canned after the season.

Are those lead paint chips or regular paint chips?
