soo um you were at the game today with all the "access" you have and your sources couldn't throw you a bone that the Flyers were looking at a d-man.. interesting.

oh and no the Flyers are not getting Nash, right now they suck goaltending wise, why would they get Nash and Mason when Mason is having a horrible year, worse than what the Flyers' goalies are having.

You need to think before you spew stuff out of your ***

You need to understand he only reports what he hears. Not every guaranteed trade

You know I come on this website quite a bit but without a doubt this is my last time.
A Saturday night and this clown hasn't put a post up in nearly six hours. What a complete joke this ecklund character is....and on top of that, all the stuff that he reports has been reported by others hours beforehand or it's completely not happening. You can rate me not coming back an E5 jackass.

well whipper will be happy, he would be tied with the kings for 8th (pts wise) if they hold on

it would be the 10th time quick has lost 1-0 this season

if the kings could have scored at least 2 in 1/2 those games, and they easily have the talent to do so, then quick would be giving lundqvist a run for his money IMO but since they cant quick wont be recognized as much

at least you can fall back on, not failing as badly as the sabres who proclaimed to be cup contenders and not come close to the playoffs, you guys still have a chance to make the dance

The way we have been playing? Not likely. I appreciate it though. I think we should trade quick, get a top player. And really, quick deserves to play on a way better team so its for his benefit.

I agree and thats no knock against him, he stands on his head night in and night out, he really needs a team to play in front him.

true but you would need to also get a decent goalie back, bernier is a very good prospect, but i doubt he is ready for full time right now and prob shouldnt get more than 50ish next year if that was the case

thats true, sorry. Not thinking straight. Maybe we could put a package together. I honestly think quick alone could fetch a top 3 player.

yes he most likely could, but do you feel confident enough that bernier could step in and produce in the next year?

I do. For whatever reason, and for the life of me I cant figure out why, we play way better in front of bernier. I dont know. Its just maddening.

Sorry for your frustration, man...it's no fun, I know it.

I'd keep Quick. Top-Notch goalies like him are rare. A few tweaks and the Kings are right back in the mix.

most teams for whatever reason play better in front of their "back up" its like they feel that there isnt as much of a safety net so they play harder and better and minimize the mistakes

the kings should be a strong team, but for whatever reason they are not playing close to what their talent level should be

the ONLY reason why your in contention right now is because of quick, if somehow the kings finish 6th then quick should be in talks for the hart trophy

Thats why its so frustrating. We have the skill. Something is really wrong with this team and I really hope a big shake up is coming. But to be honest, with dean lombardi its not likely. Hey thanks for listening to me rant.

you shoulda seen the devils board last season before the turn around

i get that the kings want to be defensively sound and play a D game, but with richards and kopitar as the top 2 C's with brown and others there is no reason for there to be nothing created, especially on the PP, to me thats on the assistant coaches

trust me, i'm with you. Looking for an upside, our powerplay has been looking a little better, along with doughty and lokti, they both had a great game. But when 3 of your 4 best players play on the first line thats a problem. This team has no depth, except on D. Richards is playing with two rookies and after that its a huge drop off with plugs and grinders.

the devils had no depth past the 2nd line pretty much but made a deal for ponikarovsky and called up bernier (signed him to a 2 way contract) and that line has played a big role and are putting up points, and has been the best line on some nights, i believe in 11 games with the devils he has 9 pts or something like that

and we are still missing zajac, who was supposed to start skating today but that will prob happen tomorrow

sometimes you have to find depth players that can produce for cheap and hope they get in a grove, fit the style and form chemistry
