I hear you. I don't agree. Having you're fifth overall pick on a line with Reasoner in my opinion is not a way to develop your player... Defensively, offensively, at all... He is not being given an opportunity that just about every draft pick this team has picked has had. We'll agree to disagree. Makes no sense to me and never will. - Cptmjl
Fair enough. Just remember he is 19 years old and probably would be better served in the AHL. It's a dumb rule that you can't have your first round picks in the AHL before they are 20. I think I'd be more agreeable if Nino REALLY showed signs of offense on that line. |

Dominick Moore and a 7th to San Jose for a 2nd round pick. Good move for Sharks. They need better bottom 6 forwards. |

According to Brian Compton, the Lightning may be sellers at the deadline. I'd still love to pry Malone from them. And yes I know, it's not going to happen regardless but a man can dream. |

and one more thing... I watch every game this team plays and if you think Rolston has not been on the first PP unit this season you are mistaken. He has seen time on both. - Cptmjl
Hasn't been on the first PP unit since before Christmas. I'd hardly consider than an issue halfway through February. |

I guess Wallace is on the trip too right? Still got a half hour before puck drops.
In all seriousness, it's very odd this news breaks right at warmups but then again I guess when else would it break? - Isles316
at least the rangers are down 4-0 |

I'm not saying this is likely but this is one of those games where you don't expect them to do much and they come out and prove us all wrong. Remember, I said it's not likely |

Yea, Montoya has been waiting for this spot for a while. I think he'll be ok tonight. Need to out work them and get power play chances. If they can do that, they will have a chance. |

BTW like the Reasoner power point comment, very creative. Way to deflect from what you know I'm truly saying. If you are such a big hockey player you would know if you play long enough with anyone you adapt and absorb and learn from the players you play with. Even though that line has zero chemistry if you don't think Nino is "learning" every aspect of the game from his line mates then you're wrong. - Cptmjl
Do you develop chemistry? Yes. Does that other person literally teach you the finer points of the game? No. That's the coaches job. Reasoner may offer the occasional bit of advice, which whether you'd like to admit it or not, is valuable from any veteran. Good player or not. Whether he does or doesn't do that is irrelevant. Your linemates don't dictate how you backcheck, play defense and your physical play. |
