I hear you. I don't agree. Having you're fifth overall pick on a line with Reasoner in my opinion is not a way to develop your player... Defensively, offensively, at all... He is not being given an opportunity that just about every draft pick this team has picked has had. We'll agree to disagree. Makes no sense to me and never will.

Fair enough. Just remember he is 19 years old and probably would be better served in the AHL. It's a dumb rule that you can't have your first round picks in the AHL before they are 20. I think I'd be more agreeable if Nino REALLY showed signs of offense on that line.

If you are such a big hockey player you would know if you play long enough with anyone you adapt and absorb and learn from the players you play with. Even though that line has zero chemistry if you don't think Nino is "learning" every aspect of the game from his line mates then you're wrong.

Do you develop chemistry? Yes. Does that other person literally teach you the finer points of the game? No. That's the coaches job. Reasoner may offer the occasional bit of advice, which whether you'd like to admit it or not, is valuable from any veteran. Good player or not. Whether he does or doesn't do that is irrelevant. Your linemates don't dictate how you backcheck, play defense and your physical play.
