No doubt............ I just want this team to be attractive to any UFA's that might be available in July.... Losing and finishing next to last would not be very attractive to them....

I didn't say never.

But until the Sabres win 6 or 7 games in a row I won't let my hopes get up too high. They're off to as good a start post all star break as they can be, but they can't slow down from here. It'll be fun to watch.

If a team ever sucked for a better draft pick.. I would never cheer for them again.. They should lose their fan base immediately...

have you ever tried to get a ticket for a game in Pittsburgh?

So I got an honest question...

Is it worth the extra money to come see the Sabres play at home in Buffalo..

or is it safe to see them play in like say Chicago which is only a few hour drive from me..

(Keep in mind... I have never been to a Sabre game... nor have I ever been to an NHL game)

- MillerTime1130

Well Chicago has a ton more to do.

In saying that wouldn't you want to see you "favorite" team at home for your 1st?

No team has won a cup from the 8th seed.

I think (if memory serves) only one team has won from the 7th seed.

yes i really would love to see them at home first...

I was raised only 40 minutes away form Chicago and spent a lot of time there.. its not the city I would care about just the Hockey Atmosphere..

My Brother in Law is a HUGE Avalanche fan.. so we have debated driving to Colorado to see them play eachother next year..

So if you were an Colts fan you would no longer cheer for them after they drafted Luck? The could have easily brought in an proven vet QB who could have won them some games. they didnt knowing they wouldnt win many games. They did this to to get the number 1 pick. It sucks to watch but it is going to set them up for years to come to be competitive.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin.. but actually took a job in Iowa...

My closest games would be Minnesota, Chicago, or St. Louis

I know you said should lose their fan base if a team tanks but Pitt is the reason there is a draft lottery ( because they tanked for Mario) and you can't buy a ticket to a game down there

fans have short memories and forgive very easily

I was a strength coach for a team in the USHL so I have traveled all over and seen plenty of games...

I have a buddy that I went to college with that plays for the Bills so I have thought about staying with him for a weekend and going to a few games with him.. Rinehart

As well as they should. If not for the injury he'd of led the league in yards.

Not bad for a stock boy.

They have to lock up Johnson as well, even if he is a buffoon. Bad teams can't be selective with their talent, until they acquire a plethora of talent.

Agreed.

Losers can't be picky.

Besides, they have to spend the money.

Heard him on the radio last week and he claimed the touchdown celebrations are a thing of the past now.

Actions are louder than words, but if he is being sincere, that's a big step.
