The Isles better leave with points. If they want any chance to squeeze back into the playoff picture, they have to get points every night, especially against division and conference opponents. That's what happens when you flush a month of a season down the toilet early on and lose 10 in a row.
The Isles are the more desperate team. They need the points far worse than Philly does. It should be reflected in their play. That was enough to steal a game in Philly a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully, it will be enough again. |

Hope fully they play with that desperation, and toughness, for a full 60 min. And now more than ever we need a dman via trade, these next two weeks are really important. |

Islanders are completely under sized against Philly. Probably was a good game to replace Wallace with Haley. No Jurcina or Hamonic sucks. Philly should just try and run over Isles. Buffalo fought back in the second period physically and Islanders shrunk |

The Islanders are so desperate they will flop tonight in a 5 - 2 beating. I cant see the Flyers losing this game after dropping the last two and losing to us not to long ago. The Islanders can not match there size. Plus the Islanders are one game under 500 and that seems to scare them. As soon as they close they shrink and lose like 5 in a row
On a good note though Philly goaltenders have been horrible so who knows what might happen. Maybe the Islanders do shock there fans and win. |

I know its a long-shot, but I hope the players don't think like you. If that happens, they'll lose every game the rest of the way. This team needs to make progress in the standings this year. Another bottom-five finish is unacceptable if you want to make an argument that this "rebuild" is working. Its already confirmed that the "rebuild" is not "on track". Its certainly not working if the team can't make progress in the standings by year four (or whatever year this is).
Maybe they won't make the playoffs, but finishing in 10th in the conference or so is a hell of a lot better than finishing in the league's bottom five again. |

This has all the signs of a 6-1 thrashing tonight. The Isles are due for a stinker and the Flyers are due to break out. Not looking forward to this game at all. The playoffs are all but out of reach, so I'm curious as to what happens with PA & Nielsen |

Hey man we just speak the truth. Everytime you get your hopes high on this team they seem to stab you in the heart. So I rather put them down so if they win it is that much more sweeter |

I dont know what it is they come to Philly and forget how to play. It is amazing. I mean maybe Ricky D will actually play well with your guys. We can trade him for some Philly Cheese Steaks? - kasperrko

I think they should go and play JR B hockey... they don't belong in the NHL.
They should just fold the team.
The fans don't care about them.
Maybe all the other fans are right about the NY Islanders and their fans!!! |

Wow Ok I think we can handle that. Anything to get DP off our team and since our resident cook Bruno Gervais is gone the cheesesteaks will fit in nicely |
